Biography:
Arun Kumar Samadder, a familiar name in the art world, obtained his diploma in visual arts in 1978 from Indian Art College, Rabindra Bharati University. From there on, he has participated in various solo and group exhibitions throughout the country and abroad. Because of his expertise and experience in the field of fine arts, many of his fine creations are now one of the precious possessions of many Indians and foreign nationale. Internationalization of his fine works is one of his great achievements.
Recently he is working on Indian mythology and culture, more precisely on the great epic of “Mahabharata”. Arun Kumar Samadder's use of colours and themes provide minimum room for criticism. His concept and proper application of colour with equally unique drawing, helps to substantiate the occult fragrance of picture in a modernized way.
