BHOSLE SUCHITRA

Biography:
Born and raised in Bangalore, Indian painter, Suchitra Bhosle earned a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management and a master’s in business administration and was already successful as a corporate marketing strategist when she and her husband, Madhur Kapoor, came to the United States in 2001. Six months after the move, however, Bhosle’s beloved father died back home in India. “He was a hobbyist painter, and growing up we had lovely art books in our home, and I was always taken to the best art shows”, she recalls. “And the moment he passed away was an awakening call for me”.

CONOR WALTON.

Biography:
Born in Dublin, Conor Walton studied painting at the National College of Art and Design, graduating in 1993. After further studies in Britain and Italy, Conor returned to full-time painting in Ireland in 1996. Five successful solo-exhibitions followed with Jorgensen Fine Art in Dublin. Conor now exhibits widely outside of Ireland, with recent solo exhibitions in Britain, Denmark and Norway.

JIMMY LAWLOR.

Biography:
Jimmy Lawlor was born in December 1967 in Wexford. Jimmy lives in Westport, in the magnificent West of Ireland. He has been exhibiting for over 15 years. His work is based not only on the Irish sense of humour, but in vivid realisation that the old way of life will have vanished by our next generation.

NICK ALM.

Biography:
Swedish painter Nick Alm started out as an illustrator in 1999, but changed course when he discovered the joy of painting. In 2007 he got accepted to the Florence Academy of Art to study the figure from life in the classical manner. Here he also became a teaching assistant. After graduation Nick received a scholarship to join The Hudson River Fellowship to paint landscapes. During the stay he also explored the great art museums in New York City. A big part of 2011 was spent together with Odd Nerdrum in Norway and France before moving back to Sweden.

JEAN CLAUDE DESPLANQUES.

Biography:
French Surrealist painter Jean-Claude Desplanques was born in Normandy in 1936, became interested in painting with 8 years of age. Fully dedicated to the art of painting in 1960. He graduated from the Ecole des Beaux Arts. His mythical creatures, strange and sublime characters take us into his fantasy, and sometimes spectacular theatrical world in which reigns beauty, grace and harmony.
