Biography:
Lidia Simeonova was born in Bulgaria. After college she and her family, including her two young children, explored different parts of Europe, and her lust for exploration fueled a worldwide journey. In 1994, Lidia and her family moved to the United States where she discovered another world, the world of computers and electronics. She has worked as a graphic designer and clay modeler for General Motors for the past five years.
Lydia’s work has been exhibited worldwide, and she has won many national and international awards. Her portfolio reflects a wide variety of mediums and styles. The artist is trying to create work in which life and painting blend in a perfect existential poem, presenting the viewer with a harmonious, contemplative image, which speaks to the spiritual complexities of our existence.
