Biography:
Cesar Barrios was born in 1949 in Guatemala City. He studied art and graphic design in Costa Rica and Spain, and worked in advertisement agencies both in Guatemala and Costa Rica. In the early 1980s Barrios specializedin watercolors and engravings, and won many national awards for his control of the technique. He has shown many of his watercolors internationally in countries like Italy, Mexico, Taiwan,Brazil, and the United States.
