Tanya Kolechko
Biography:
Born by FIRE.-Even the master artist whose muse has led him to design a project and to cultivate an idea cannot guarantee the result: fire is enamel's ultimate creator, and acts upon the material independently of man's will.
As it was thousands of years ago, enamel is a fusion of metallic oxides with ordinary glass. These mundane-sounding components are the basis for the phenomenon called enamel. The technology of enamel production was familiar to the ancient Egyptians. From the Nile valley, enamel-making techniques spread to Byzantium and then to Kyiv Rus by the 10th century A.D. Eventually, people began to call the articles produced from enamel by the same name. Bright and colourful enamels enjoyed wide popularity among the Kyiv aristocracy and clergy. Women's jewellery, church utensils, icons and altars were decorated with the material. Jewellery manufactured with enamel was very expensive and not only because of the fact that gold was the background over which enamel was laid. The process of applying enamel required the mastery of difficult techniques, and the secrets of shaping and glazing enamel were passed on from master to apprentice over the course of years.

Marne Adler
Biography:
Marne Adler presents images of great beauty and power. Her highly textured, sculptural work is full of depth and nuance. When describing her work, one reviewer coined the term “Magical Realism” and she has since been associated with this genre.
Marne has always been intrigued by mankind`s search for meaning; even as an adolescent she studied the religions and philosophies of the world. Born in New York City, she began her career as an art teacher. But soon Marne became truly committed to this exploration and spent the next few years traveling throughout the world, learning cultural myths, scriptural allegories, mystic rituals and meditation.
She draws on these experiences when creating her work. Influenced by Master Symbolists such as Redon and Moreau, her images are infused with a visual language of the soul.
For over thirty years, her work has been exhibited in Japan, Hong Kong, France, Germany, Belgium and the United States and is included in important private, corporate, museum and academic collections.

Caroline Archambault Pinturas
Biography:
Caroline Archambault est née en 1971 à Saint-Eustache, Québec. Elle a étudié en arts visuels à l'université Concordia à Montréal ainsi qu'à l'Institut Emily Carr de Vancouver. Elle a également étudié plusieurs années à l'atelier de Francine Labelle et perfectionné son apprentissage avec Brian Bomesler à New York.
Mme Archambault est représentée par plusieurs galeries au Québec et a participé à de nombreuses expositions locales et internationales. En plus de sa recherche personnelle en peinture, elle enseigne à son atelier depuis plusieurs années la créativité par le lobe droit du cerveau et la peinture intuitive.
À travers sa peinture, Caroline Archambault exprime une vision abstraite et poétique de la réalité et explore le pouvoir de l'imaginaire et du processus créatif chez l'humain. Elle crée des espaces où la lumière et la profondeur cohabitent, où les contrastes sont à l'honneur et où la vibration des couleurs nous dansent aux yeux. Comme des paysages intérieurs que le public est appelé à déchiffrer et à ressentir. Des espaces qui inspirent la contemplation et la méditation.
Les œuvres de Caroline Archambault se retrouvent en collection privée dans plusieurs villes d’Amérique du Nord et d' Europe dont entre autre Montréal, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Toronto et Paris.
Ses oeuvres ont été exposées récemment au Japon ainsi qu'à la Maison du Québec aux jeux Olympiques d'hiver à Vancouver.

Christophe Vacher
Biography:
Christophe Vacher is a French artist who has provided Backgrounds, Visual Development and Art Direction for Disney, Dreamworks, Universal Studios and the animation industry since 1989. He worked in many small animation studios before joining Disney's Paris-based animation unit for three years, where he painted backgrounds for such animated films as "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", "Runaway Brain" and served as head of background for the 1995 feature, "A Goofy Movie".
Relocating to California in 1996, he continued his association with Disney, where his credits have included painting backgrounds and concept artwork for "Dinosaur", "Hercules," "Tarzan", the Stravinsky Firebird finale for "Fantasia 2000" and "Treasure Planet". He also worked on Dreamworks' "Shark Tale" doing concept Artwork and paintings.
In 2004, he became Art Director, first on a CG animated short movie for Studio Arts in Los Angeles, then for the animated segment of Disney's live action movie "Enchanted", and eventually for the CG feature film "9", produced by Tim Burton and directed by Shane Acker, for which he got a 2010 Annie Awards Nomination (the equivalent of the Academy Awards for Animation) in the category "Best Production Design for a Feature Production".
He worked for a few months as production designer on the upcoming movie "Heroes and Monsters" and as a visual development artist for Universal Studios on "Despicable Me".
He is currently working at Hasbro studios on the CG animated TV series "Transformers Prime" for which he won an Emmy Award in 2011.
In parallel to Animation, he works on his own paintings for Art Galleries, and buyers from all around the world have been collecting his artwork.
He now shares his time between doing
artwork and instructing Martial Arts and Fitness (Christophe has been in Martial Arts and Sports since the age of 13).
He lives in Toluca Lake, California and frequently travels all over the world.

James Wu
Biography:
I have always been enthusiastic about painting since I was a child. I started with academy drawing and oil painting when I was 13 years old. I would say that art is part of my spiritual soul and a very important part of my life.
I’ve learned various Chinese ink brush techniques from different masters when I was an undergraduate student at National Taiwan University of Arts in Taipei. I figured out that the Chinese painting style always leaves the viewer to sense what remains unsaid; to create and complete the painting for himself. The balance of not saying too much and knowing what to leave unsaid are as important as what is actually painted. I am constantly looking for that kind of spirit and powerful energy by creating the “spiritually dynamic impact of a brush stroke” in my paintings.
In order to challenge myself and to discover something new for my work, my wife and I made a huge decision. We decided to have a new experience by living in America. In 1998, I attained an MFA degree from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri. Learning the western painting techniques and ideas has had a great impact on me.
Being an artist and instructor, my curiosity is about how to create a new visual language. I believe there is a great transmission in eastern and western art as well as the transition in wet media to oil; thin to thick; monochrome to color; transparent to opaque, 3D to 2D and realistic to abstract. Over the years of my experiments, I am pleased the work in this series has involved all my ideas and techniques from the mixed media: ink, watercolor, acrylic and oil.
My work has evolved to explore the relations between imagination and reality in natural and personal emotion. The process begins with an idea of the texture with the crumpling, splashing effect from real or imaginary imagery. The concrete, repetitive nature of this work frees my imagination and provides many opportunities for happy accidents and grace to influence the finished work. My technique for the actual paintings involves building up areas of ink and watercolor through the application of many thin layers of transparent paint to achieve vibrant color effects on rice paper. After that, I emphasize the thick layers of impasto which is a deliberately heavy buildup of oil paint, to create three dimensional spaces on canvas. This technique in my work has proven a most amenable vehicle for translating my inner vision to an outer reality. It is simultaneously subtle and bold, complex and simple, planned and spontaneous. I want to obtain the desired transparency, luminosity, and richness on canvas.
I work quite deliberately, consciously employing both traditional and innovative techniques. In my new paintings, I want to create assemblages that visually converse with both contemporary international art ideas and issues as well as with traditional eastern art emphases and concerns.
