Omar Delawer

Biography:
Delawer Omar was born on October 15th 1986 and is a native of Western Kurdistan. As a child, Delawer had already been drawn by arts and therefore, over the time, he has promptly become a real enthusiast of painting. Nowadays between studies and his own passion, Delawer Omar succeeded in being a major player through the realm of artists; Thus there is no doubt that his career is going forward.

Emilie Leger

Biography:
Émilie Léger is an artist and a graphic design student based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Although digital art and writing are her main means of creating, she prioritizes effect, texture and emotion over the medium itself. Throughout the art of creating, she often seeks what bonds realism and onirism, as if to encapsulate dream states. This quest is, undoubtedly, intimately entwined with her academic and personal background, notably influenced by theatre, literature and writing. Highly perceptive, she shares her inner world, one that is characterized by her most awakened senses: the visual and the auditory. Increasingly dictated by surrealist intentions, Émilie finds herself even further accomplished; as she focuses on defining her role as a creative individual, she simultaneously pursues her goal of transposing literary thought into image and, inversely, transposing image into literature.

Sigal Tsabari

Biography:
Sigal Tsabari, instructor of Sunday and Tuesday adult drawing courses and the Sunday youth painting class, was born in Haifa in 1966. She first trained under Israel Hershberg at the Avni Institute from 1986 to 1988, and since 2006 she has been teaching in the Continuing Studies program at the Jerusalem Studio School. Sigal has been exhibiting her works since 1995 in both Israel and abroad, including the Israel Museum and the Artists House in Jerusalem, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and various galleries. When not teaching her very popular courses at JSS, she works in her home studio in Rishon Le Zion. “Sigal Tsabari, who studied with Israel Hershberg prior to the establishment of the Jerusalem Studio School, has developed over the years a unique pictorial language, both technically – in her color palette and in the use of various media on one painting – and in her subject matter. Tsabari engages in a sort of pursuit after nature: she follows almost scientifically the development of plants growing in buckets on her balcony, depicting the changing hues of an eggplant and the enlarged shape of the okra fruit, which she doesn’t pick until the fruit dries off and hangs from the branch like a dead appendage. Such arrangements are often juxtaposed with images taken from her personal and family life. The growth of a plant serves as a metaphor for the growth of a person, or the growth of a child in the uterus. Themes of sexuality and motherhood comprise an important aspect of her work, as expressed in images of fertility and growth in nature.” –Amitai Mendelsohn. Arvind Kolapkar

Biography:
Arvind Kolapkar, Indian painter, born in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra and completed a Diploma in Art Education from the Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya, Pune, in 2000. Prior to that, he received a General Diploam in art in 1999 and an Art Teacher's diploam in 1993, both from the same institution. He has had solo exhibitions of his work at Atelier Art Gallery, Mumbai, in 2008; Alankritha Art Gallery, Hyderabad, in 2007; and Singapore Art Gallery, Singapore, in 2006. He has also participated in the Singapore Art Festival in 2004-2006. His work has been a part of group shows at Nehru Centre, Mumbai, and Heritage Art Gallery, Ahmedabad. Kolapkar was awarded the State Art Painting Award in 2002.

Andrew Annenberg

Biography:
Andrew Annenberg invokes a strong sense of the European tradition present within his paintings from Breughel to Dali, but, in fact, his roots have drunk deeper from the well of more ancient civilizations. From the font of inspiration handed down by the gods and the muses, culture has been bequeathed to the race of man, raising him above the subhumans and giving him his rightful birthright, the ability to express the Divinity within. In Andrew we partake of a genuine renaissance in the confused area of what fine art really is today. He draws our attention to Nature as a contemplation of our corporeal abode, fascinating, abundant with variety yet ever-changing. He turns our minds within - to the fantastic realms where consciousness is un-confined. He brings us to a meditation on that which lies beyond. In the case of the immediate, tangible environment around us he represents the loftiest of Man's achievements, the most noble aspirations manifested as architecture, sculpture, craftsmanship; Man's record of his cosmic discoveries.
