Biography:
Olga Domanova was born in Mogilev (Belarus) on Dec. 24th, 1958. She started her studies at the Art Academy in Minsk in 1979. In 1980 the encounter with paintings by Salvador Dali left a deep and lifelong impression which influenced her future life.
From 1981 onwards Domanova regularly took part in different exhibitions in her own country and abroad. Her first personal exhibition was organised in Minsk (Belarus). From 1985 til 1991 Domanova worked fruitfully in the field of graphic arts and posters, for which she received the First Price in Sofia (Bulgaria) in 1988 and the Special Price in Warsaw (Poland) in 1989.
She was awarded with the Diplomas of the Union of Artists in 1986 and 1987.
In 1988 she became member of the Belarusian Union of Artists.
