Biography:
Oswaldo Sagastegui. Born in 1936 in Huánuco, a city in central Peru. He has lived and worked in France, Italy and the United States. In 1959 he graduated at the National School of Fine Arts in Lima. The following year came to Rome where we stayed until 1968, when he moved to Mexico where he resides today. Between 1968 and 1984 is devoted to political journalism through comics, gaining recognition and publications in dozens of newspapers in Mexico, United States, Europe and some Asian countries. Then returns all'astratto where the dominant color and texture but always with an addition of virtual spaces and the optical effects achieved through computer technology.Oswaldo Sagástegui is a man of great artistic, journalistic and human fully capable of uniting art and the intellect all'estetica.
