Michel Ogier 1943 | French Visionary painter.
Michel Ogier was born beneath aerial bombardments on the 19th December 1943 in St Etienne in France. In 1960 he joins the Bellecour print works in Lyon to learn the trade of retoucher in heliogravure and for sole baggage at that date “a prize for an ardent disposition for gambling”. During this period, he likes Maurice de Vlaminck for his tormented skies; Bernard Buffet for his rigid lines; George Dumesnil de Latour for his purity and Salvador Dalì for his imagination. Even if he paints a few small gouaches at this time, as sincere as they were clumsy; he is still a very long way from visualising a path of creation.
"Nothing will be rejected, expelled. Everything will take part in the meeting, the osmosis. I think the edification of my painting rests on a yes! A yes, which will be the taking in consideration the acknowledgement of what is. You cannot deny anything about existence without mutilating yourself. Painting is for me the phenomenal good fortune of awareness. Painting not only what I am, but also all of what I am. That is my ambition and my research, which somewhere agrees with yours” - Michel Ogier

Carlo Marìa Mariani is a conceptual painter.
His work is a meditation on perfection and harmony - past, present and future. It is not enough for him to present to the world simply a glimpse of his own private vision. Instead, he offers an alternative mode of thought, to be used by all who seek refuge from mass-media induced mediocrity and cynicism...
He uses his dazzling craftsmanship to address the most advanced aesthetic problems of today. His work involves complex issues including reconciliations of past with present, memory with loss, and life with death...In his work, Mariani strives for heightened consciousness, and for a greater understanding of the dimensions, not only of space, but also of time."
Lena Sotskova was born in Moscow in 1963. She was discovered as a child prodigy at the age of four. A descendant of generations of the Russian aristocracy, Lena was fortunate to have a privileged upbringing and elite education in leading art schools and through private lessons from masters of painting.
Lena Sotskova was... studying and working in the vaults of prestigious institutions such as The Hermitage, The Louvre, Art Fund of Russia and royal palaces and cathedrals of Moscow and St. Petersburg. She was involved in the restoration of rare pieces of art that were damaged during the Moscow fire of 1812 during the war with Napoleon Bonaparte.
Lena's talent, education, experience and exposure to such a wealth of culture have resulted in a unique, very intriguing art style that is magnetic and powerful. It represents an artistic evolution of her classical training merged with elements of contemporary environment.
One of today’s most acclaimed painters with many international awards and titles, Lena knows that being in a state of comfort is destructive to the creativity of an artist, so she is constantly at work, in the further development of her unique art style. Lena Sotskova only creates from 5 to 8 original paintings each year. She does not repeat herself in her paintings, evolving to the next, more superior level in every new art piece.

ALBENA VATCHEVA is a young French artist of Bulgarian origin who advances in a spectacular way. Her painting is the heiress of various traditions, including that of masters of the icon. Using different oriental so...urces, in particular India and Persia, she has created a world of troubling fairy, which exercises a true fascination over the eye, so much her glowing colors create magic. Tender, loving, her characters live in a world of peace, harmony and mutual consolation. Let us not forget that poetry was her first passion. ALBENA lives in the parallel universe of tales, of big universal legends, of invincible childhood and enjoys an outstanding sensibility. The ease and the elegance she has acquired allow her to express a wide range of feelings. Spiritual and sensual, she is undoubtedly only at the dawn of more than a promising journey. We have here an authentic talent, especially considering her recent admission into the sphere of painting.
